ecoLeap foundation was founded and registered in Geneva, Switzerland on the 12 May 2009 as a non profit organization under Swiss law – with registration number CH-660-1328009-0. This means that ecoLeap foundation is under oversight by the Swiss authorities – Secrétariat general SG-DFI / Surveillance fédérale des foundation and is subject to yearly audits.
ecoLeap foundation was created to allow us to undertake more and larger philanthropic activities of both environmental and cultural nature. ecoLeap foundation also hosts the fundraising ultra-run “Mongolia Sunrise to Sunset” where all profits primarily go to the “Hovsgol National Park litter education and control project”. This project aims to help keep Hovsgol National Park as pristine as we found it in 1999. The project consist of two major components one to provide a waste management system for the park and two to educate locals and tourist on how to enjoy the park while protecting the environment. We also undertake other projects such as “Khovsgol Dairy Project” which is a collaboration between Danish Architects without Borders, Danish Dairy Technology without Borders, and Danish and Mongolian anthropologists.

Nicolas Musy, Chairman of the Board, is a Swiss national based in Shanghai, China. Nicolas is a Physics Engineer based in China since the 1990s where he runs and owns an industrial project management company and a precision mechanical production operation.
Eric Amhof, Board Member, is a Swiss national based in Lausanne, Switzerland. Eric is a former Swiss diplomat with extensive experience on all continents. He holds master’s degrees in Political Science and in Sports Management.
Zvonimir Grobenski, Board Member, is a German national (originating from Croatia) based on the shores of Lake Konstanz, Germany. Zvonimir has degrees in Geology & Mineralogy (University of Zagreb), and a Ph.D. in Chemistry (University of Konstanz), and he has behind him managerial experience working for leading international companies in the fields of analytical instrumentation and biotechnology.
Steen Holck, Board Member, is a Danish national based in Zurich Switzerland. Steen has an extensive background from the Hotel and Leisure industry and holds a MBA in Finance.
Tyler Pike, Board Member, is a USA national based in Sydney, Australia. Tyler is an author, sinologist and teaches Chinese language and literature at the University of Sydney.
Shuree Sukhbaatar, General Manager ecoLeap Mongolian Branch, is a Mongolian national living in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Shuree has a background in Travel Management.
Angie Eagan, Advisor to the Board, is a USA national based in Shanghai, China. Angie manages a leading international recruitment firm.
Naranchimeg Demberelsambuu, Advisor to the Board, is a Mongolian national living in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Chimgee has a Design Degree, Trades Degree and a Masters in Marketing of Tourism and she is the Director of the Toilogt camp.
